World Book Day
Primary four thoroughly enjoyed World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. To celebrate the event, we decided to have a “Fantastic Mr Fox” day (and we will continue the work on Friday too). Pupils got the opportunity to solve numeracy problems, - relating to their novel, complete a literacy task where they had to create an invite for animals to Mr Fox’s feast, complete research on Roald Dahl using the iPads, complete a diary entry in the character of Mr Fox, and finally, create an illustration of their favourite character using pastels. Everyone fully got in to the spirit and we had a most FANTASTIC day! Have a look at some of our photos.
