Welcome to Mrs Cush's primary five class. We have had a very busy first term and have done lots of exciting things!!

Class novel

We have been reading The Worst Witch and decided to make castles from clay to look like Cackle Academy (the school for witches in the story). We were very proud of our work when it was finished.

Ulster Museum

We were lucky to get the opportunity to go to visit the Ulster Museum in November. While we were there we were given a tour of a wonderful Art exhibition and learned a lot about different types of Art. Then we were given the chance to be artists ourselves! Some of the samples of Art which we saw were mosaics so we were allowed to try making our own mosaics from coloured paper. In the photo taken on the steps in the museum we are proudly showing off our work!!
