Welcome to Primary 4

Primary 4 have had a very busy first few months in Mercy Primary, and we have completed some exciting pieces of work.

Literacy

We have enjoyed writing instructions from making our Garden Fairies and making Rice Crispies.  We have also enjoyed writing beautiful poems about food. Our class novel is Flat Stanley which we love. Our class completed a diary entry on the day we became "Flat Stanley" and this was so much fun. We cannot wait to finish the novel.

Numeracy

We have really enjoyed working on tally and bar charts, and it was exciting to use our interactive whiteboard to record information. Our new WALT is vertical addition with regrouping, which is great.

PE

We are looking forward to starting Boxercise lessons with a Sport NI coach, Liam.

                        This website has loads of fun and interactive games to help us learn. We also enjoyed going on an autumn walk around our school grounds.
