Refugee week

To mark refugee week Primary 2/3 have been looking at what a refugee is. The children watched a wonderful short animation by Save The Children called ‘Home’. This video helped the class understand in a child friendly way some of the challenges that refugee children face. Later the class discussed and completed some work on the things they might miss if they had to suddenly leave their home and community.
