P7 Potato Poets!

Today our P7s explored writing in the given form of a haiku. They firstly  researched the key features of a haiku; its structure and style and its origins. In keeping with the P7 WAU topic of Hunger and the Famine, the girls used all their senses as they handled the humble potato. After jotting ideas down on their ideas page, the girls created and edited their first drafts of their very own haikus. Great fun and also great poetry achieved by our P7 poets.🌟
