P7 Cycle their Way to Smoothie Heaven!

Our P7 girls celebrated Book Week by visiting their local Ardoyne Library. Trevor, the librarian, read a short extract from David Walliam's, The World's Worst Children. They discussed how important it was to try to eat healthily and get their 5 a day. The girls then worked in pairs to create their own fruit smoothie, however this smoothie was a little bit different. In order to blend all their ingredients they had to place the blender on a bike and use cycle power to blend the fruit together! There was lots of happy healthy faces all round.
