P1CD 2D Shape Hunt

This week in numeracy our girls have been very busy learning all about 2D shapes . 

We created lots of discussion about the names of 2D shapes , eg triangle , square , circle and rectangle .

All our girls were amazing at this ,shape superstars .🌟👏

Our challenge this week was to go on a 2D shape hunt around our school both indoors and outdoors .bThey had to recognise the name of the 2D shapes and take a photo . 

They had a check list which they had to complete when they found each shape . 

Our girls thoroughly enjoyed this activity having lots of discussion about each shape. 

Great team work from all our wonderful primary 1 girls .
