International Women's Day at Mercy

Our school community came together on Friday 8th March to celebrate International Women's Day. Our P4-7 classes had the opportunity to meet with inspiring females (some who were past pupils too) from different walks of life:  a Nurse,  a Chief Inspector at Translink,  a Politician  and an Astrophysicist. 

In the afternoon we gathered together to celebrate #BalanceforBetter through a concert showcasing our talents and strength.

Some of our parents came together and engaged in an empowerment workshop were they discussed stereotypes around girls and boys.
