Flat Stanley
In primary four, we read a novel called Flat Stanley. Stanley goes on lots of adventures in the book, so in primary 4, we decided to send our own Flat Stanley on an adventure. We each had to send Stanley to a different country and see what adventures he would go on. We also wanted to find out what currency is used in these different countries.
Meabh’s Stanley went to Australia and has been KIDNAPPED!! Stanley is staying there for a while, and Meabh’s friends are going to take him to New Zealand on more adventures (lucky Stanley!!)
Hollie’s Stanley went to London. Stanley was very lucky and got a tour of London in a black cab. He visited Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The Tower Bridge…and he even found a street called Stanley Gardens. We also think he found a building named after him. We thought this was so cool. We cannot wait to receive more Stanley’s back in the post. We will keep you up-to-date on his recent adventures.
P.S. have a look at the photos of Stanley’s adventures.
