Christmas Magic at The Maples

It was with great excitement on Thursday 19th, that  our choir and volunteers from P6&7 hopped on the 174 Duncairn Community  Trust Bus to take them to The Maples Leonard Cheshire Supported Dwelling where one of our very own parents is completing her work placement.

Our girls helped prepare and serve party food for the residents; they sang Christmas carols; chatted with the residents and there was even time for some games and a dance. Mercy Girls, you were brilliant!

This marks the start of our first event working with The Maples. Thanks to our award from Linking Generations Northern Ireland we were able to fund our Christmas Party as well as many more exciting  events to follow in 2020...
