Building Bird Houses with Conservation Volunteers!
23rd Jun 2017
Our P7 girls got stuck into a legacy project on this, their last day in Mercy Primary. The P7 girls worked with Mary from conservation volunteers to sand, construct and nail wood together to make lots of bird boxes.
These bird boxes will be a left behind legacy to develop our fairy woodland area and wildlife homes for the rest of the school to enjoy.
The girls used skills of teamwork, sequencing, problem solving and developing abilities to sand, hammer and work with wood!
A fantastic mornings work P7!
