Autumn
Autumn is a wonderful time of year for Primary Three. This year we kicked it off with an explorative walk in the school grounds, taking in all the colourful seasonal changes. We took part in the spooky school Halloween disco where there were some seriously scary costumes. The primary three girls are learning about the science of light by discovering different light sources and how bright they are. We will also discover the dark and mysterious world of nocturnal animals, who we less often notice. The girls are particularly excited to be creating their own non-fictional book about bats. We are all enjoying our fictional class novel, ‘The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark’ (coming soon on DVD, starring our P3 girls).
