A busy classroom
We are having a busy and exciting first term in Primary Three. At the end of September we went on our Autumn walk and found berries, conkers, hazelnuts and a Drey (squirrels nest). We created an Autumn display in the main corridor and an Autumn display table. The Primary three children carved out pumpkins and made chocolate apples, we then created a set of instructions for others to follow and make. The children dressed up and had a ball at the Mercy Primary Halloween Disco.
Now we have settled back in after mid-term, Primary three are looking forward to finding out about the ‘Dark’: sources of light, researching Florence Nightingale and reading our class novel ‘The Owl who was afraid of the Dark’.
